Proactive work

The Council on Ethics’ proactive work addresses complex sustainability challenges and systemic risks with the aim of creating positive change. By working with focus areas, the Council on Ethics deepens its expertise and can encourage positive development at company, industry, and system level.

The Council on Ethics’ proactive work is long-term and is based on a number of focus areas that extend over several years. A systematic process provides support for prioritisation, selection of projects, and ongoing evaluation. In 2023, the Council on Ethics and the AP Funds selected five focus areas that address complex sustainability challenges and systemic risks that affect both the AP Funds’ investments and society.
