Recommendation of the Council on Ethics 2025-04-24
The Council on Ethics for the AP Funds' (The Council on Ethics) position on cluster munitions is informed by the Convention on Cluster Munitions, which has been signed and ratified by Sweden. The Council on Ethics recommends exclusion of companies that produce, store, trade, or use cluster munitions.
LIG Nex1 Co., Ltd., a South Korean defense company, meets the established exclusion criteria as it is assessed to be involved in the production of cluster munitions.
The Council on Ethics therefore recommends that the company LIG Nex1 Co., Ltd. be excluded because they produce cluster munitions and are thus considered to be in violation of the Convention on Cluster Munitions.
